Andy Kim
lead Pastor
Andy came to San Francisco in 2015 as a step of faith. Though his plan was only to stay a couple of years, God had different plans. He met his wife Jane while serving at church and together they have called San Francisco their home. Before SF, Andy graduated from Northwestern University with a major in economics with the desire to make it “big.” He spent 7 years in corporate strategy in downtown Chicago. Responding to the call to ministry, he also began seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago while serving as a youth pastor. After surviving 7 brutal winters, he moved to SF and finished his Masters of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has a heart for the city of San Francisco to see God redeem the broken and the lost. In his free time, he enjoys eating and exploring different places in the city. More importantly, he and Jane spend most of their time chasing after their son Caleb and their daughter Cassia.
Paul Kang

Paul grew up in Los Angeles going to church, however walked away from Christianity to pursue his own dreams. Eventually, he came to an end of himself and began to search for hope again. God powerfully encountered Paul during a prayer meeting, and he joyfully gave his life to Jesus. While working in corporate america, Paul sensed a calling to ministry and ultimately decided to take a step of faith. He left his job to become a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Kona and served with Discipleship Training Schools. There, he walked closely with students and trained outreach teams to be sent to nations throughout the world. During his time at YWAM he also met his wife, Lindsey. In 2020, Paul and Lindsey moved to Boston for seminary at Gordon-Conwell for a Master of Divinity. A year later, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Eden. Eventually, Paul and Lindsey felt a strong call to serve at Radiance. Together, they took another step of faith and moved to the Bay Area. As soon as she returned to the United States, God faithfully opened a door for her to serve as a children’s pastor in San Diego while simultaneously earning a Master’s degree in Teaching at Biola University. After 3 years of witnessing God’s grace and kindness in ministry, she was then called to South Korea to serve as an elementary chaplain and 2nd-grade teacher at a Christian international school. During her 2 years in South Korea, she has witnessed the power of the gospel and the beauty of trusting in the Lord. Recently, Marie moved back to California and serves bi-vocationally as a public school elementary teacher and CM pastor at Radiance. Born and raised in San Francisco, Mina grew up in the church but rejected Christianity early in her youth. However, the Lord faithfully pursued her. During her undergraduate years at UC Santa Cruz, Mina found her way to a campus ministry, SOON Movement Global. God broke her disbelief during a large group meeting, and gave her life to Christ. After graduating, Mina entered the political and nonprofit space hoping to create social change that could transform people's lives. In the midst of her career, God revealed that transformation can only be found in the restorative power of the gospel. While working for a domestic and sexual violence prevention nonprofit, God opened a door for her to serve in ministry. Mina has a heart for people to passionately desire Christ. Mina serves with Decision Point (National School Project) and helps a local high school's Christian club. In her free time, she loves baking, visiting cute cafes, and playing video games.
Jeff Chiu
Ministry Intern
Jeff grew up in Taiwan as an atheist, and had his eyes set on becoming a physician early on and playing hard along the way. However, God revealed Himself to Jeff through a college friend while attending UC Berkeley, where they started doing 1-on-1 Bible Study together. Through this, he came to believe in the God of the Bible as his Creator, became convicted of his sins, and surrendered his life to Jesus. Jeff has experience ministering to college students and young adults as a lay staff over the last decade. He is excited to join staff at Radiance to be equipped and to help equip the saints for the work of ministry. Outside of church, Jeff also works part-time as an ER Physician, and is in seminary at Gordon-Conwell. In his free time, he enjoys sports, music, working out, and cooking healthy meals.
Lindsey Kang

In her early twenties, Lindsey had a personal encounter with God while traveling that opened her eyes to His deep love and shifted her life entirely. After finishing undergrad and working for a few years in the OC, she felt the Lord calling her into missions. In 2018, Lindsey took a big step of faith and moved to Hawaii to work with YWAM where she and Paul had met two years prior. This was a significant time during her life where she was able to walk closely in discipleship with other women and witness the transforming power of the gospel in their lives. Her heart for missions continued to grow after spending time on outreach in various countries. After Lindsey and Paul got married, they spent a few years in Boston and eventually felt called to be a part of what God is doing in SF through Radiance. Lindsey is half Taiwanese, a mom of 1, and passionate about photography, developing leaders, and seeing women walk in the freedom of Christ.
David Kim
Elder
David lived in 9 different cities before settling into San Francisco Bay Area, as he pursued his academic and career ambitions. While he had attended church, he did not understand what it means to have a real personal relationship with God until encountering a heartbreaking personal situation. By experiencing God through these circumstances, David came to glimpse His sovereignty and heart for all people, as well as the life-transforming implication of Jesus' hanging on the cross and his subsequent rising. This also motivated him to prioritize living out his faith and serving others over personal ambitions, though he still struggles to find balance. David is married to Tiffany and has two daughters, Ellen and Clara. He has been working as a professional in private equity and hedge fund investing for over twenty years and currently serves as partner at a San Francisco-based investment partnership.
